CAMDEN – Funeral service for Charles Laney Rabon, 65, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Rabon passed away on the morning of Thursday, January 30, 2014. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Abe Laney and Ila Mae Harrison Rabon. He retired from DuPont. He enjoyed golf, fishing and was an avid Gamecock fan. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Virginia Carraway Rabon; sons, Chip Rabon (Christal) of Matthews, N.C., and Greg Rabon (Faith) of Lugoff; brothers, Steve Rabon of Port Orange, Fla. and Barry Rabon of Camden; and grandchildren, Noah Rabon, Nash Rabon, Savannah Seymour, Maddie Seymour and Cooper Seymour.
