Obituary of Gwendolyn Branham Seawell

Gwendolyn Branham Seawell, 74, of Tempe, AZ, and formerly of Ridgeway, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Born in Ridgeway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Mansel Branham, Jr. and Mary Camelar Humphries and the wife of Luther Seawell. Gwendolyn enjoyed crafting, volleyball, and attending and supporting her grandchildren in their various activities.

In addition to her husband, Gwendolyn is survived by her children, Olivia Jill Seawell, Julie Seawell Akin, and Holly Seawell Barron; grandchildren, David Matthew Barron, Olivia Gwen Barron, Samantha Lynn Akin, Kristopher Michael Akin, Jr., and Joshua Brock Akin; and siblings, Rebecca Thompson, Gary Branham, and Tom Branham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Ridgeway Ward. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway.
