Obituary of Fumio Hashimoto

COLUMBIA – Services for Fumio Hashimoto, 72, will be private.

    Mr. Hashimoto passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.  Born in Tokyo, Japan, he was the son of the late Hirofumi and Chiyo Sato Hashimoto.  He enjoyed football, going to the beach and listening to music.

    Surviving are his wife, Junko Kawabata Hashimoto; daughters, Megumi Iwasawa (Masashi), Masumi Murphy and Maki Hashimoto; and grandchildren, Zenas Murphy, Shinta Iwasawa and Leo Iwasawa.  He was predeceased by a brother, Takashi Hashimoto.
