Obituary of John E. Hall

CASSATT – Funeral service for John Edward Hall, 76, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The Rev. Tim Shirley and the Rev. Neal Nolan will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the home on Monday.

    Mr. Hall passed away at home on Friday, August 27, 2021.  Born in Lee County, he was the son of the late Robbie Frasier Hall and Annie Bell Tetter Rogers. 

    Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Emmie Louise Ray Hall; daughter, Gloria Smith of Cassatt; son, Johnathan Hall (Teressa) of Cassatt; sisters, Debbie Hill, Shirley Jackson, Shirley Best, and Brenda Easterling; brothers, Alfred Rogers and Randy Rogers; grandchildren, Sabrina Jones (Brandon), Tiffany Smith, Courtney Smith (Lee), Shane Smith (Callie), Zachary Hall (Ashley), Dalton Hall (McKenzie), Makayla Hall, Seth Hall and Daisy Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Caleb Jones, Conner Jones, Serenity Christianson, Aria Christianson, Tyrian Christianson, Zoei Grace Hall, Kayden Hall, Chase Hall, Everleigh Jon’Claire Hall, Gracie Greer, Charlie Smith, and Bentlee Watford.  He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Helen Thompson and Vicki Rogers; and brothers, Bobby Hall Jr. and Robbie Hall, Jr.
