Obituary of Gene Pike

Vernon Gene Pike, 63, of Lugoff, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born in Elizabethton, TN, he was the son of Vernon M. and Margaret S. Pike. Gene loved to hunt and fish and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and he will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Gene is survived by his daughters, Krystal Laughead (Michael) of Kernersville, NC, and Autumn Pike of Lugoff; and a grandson, Ransom Laughead.

The family will hold a time of gathering to celebrate Gene’s life from 5-7pm on Saturday, August 14^th, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
