I recently found out that Ms Jackie had passed. I remember growing up with their family in Sumter. I hadn't seen her in years but had heard from her last year on my birthday. She was such a kind and gentle lady. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. She will be missed.

Jackie and I taught school together for several years. She had a wonderful sense of humor. We have remained friends all of the years since we both retired. I enjoyed talking with her almost every week. She is with God and is happy and well.

Have been a friend of Jackie's since high school....we attended Winthrop together....had our sons two weeks apart...was in her wedding....knew her parents...loved her sister Ellen...so thankful for all the good times shared...quite a character....heaven is joyous tonight!!
