Obituary of Courtney M. Dowey

LUGOFF – Services for Courtney Marissa Dowey, 25, will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thiel-Meyers Pet Adoption Center.

    Mrs. Dowey passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Barbara Catoe Robinson and the late Christopher Michael Dowey and Johnny Robinson.  She enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, taking care of her pets and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

    Surviving are her spouse, Whitley Graem Dowey; mother, Barbie Robinson (Frankie Branham) of Lugoff; siblings, Allen Catoe (Brittany), Christopher Dowey Jr. (Shay), Corey Dowey (Brianna), Brittany Robinson (Shelby), Nikki Robinson, Joseph Robinson and Brice Branham; grandparents, Wayne and Myriam Catoe; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
