Obituary of Larry Letchworth

LUGOFF – Funeral service for Thomas Larry Letchworth, Sr., 78, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Camden.  The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.  A private burial will be held on Monday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Cancer Institute

    Mr. Letchworth passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021.  Born in Kinston, N.C, he was the son of the late Frank and Thelma Moore Letchworth.  He served in the United States Air Force and retired from DuPont where he was a Packaging Engineer.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden.  Mr. Letchworth enjoyed traveling, cookouts and spending time with his family.

    Surviving are his wife, Nancy Susan Boone “Susie” Letchworth; son, Thomas Larry Letchworth, Jr. (Jessica); daughter, Julie Letchworth Ross (Kendon); brother, Charles Franklin Letchworth (Sue); sister, Thelma Diane Richter (Gregg); and grandchildren, Maelyn Letchworth, Max Letchworth, Chloe Letchworth, Ian Ross and Ava Ross.
