Obituary of Betty Brasington Hall

ELGIN – A memorial service for Betty Brasington Hall, 96, will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 12pm at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

    Mrs. Hall passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.  Born in Columbia, he was the daughter of the late Major James and Ruth Browder Hall. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.  She was a member of high steppers square dance club.  She enjoyed line dancing, gardening, crocheting, sewing and smocking.

     Surviving are her grandchildren, Julie Larson and James Winders, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Johnnie Ruth Winders; granddaughter, Jennifer Cumbie; and siblings, Jack Hall, Mildred Welch, Dorothy Boan, Faye Hall, Gwendolyn Barfield, and James Hall.
