Obituary of Carole T. West

ELGIN- A memorial service for Carole Talbert West, 79, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Blaney Baptist Church. The Rev. Jacob Helsley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blaney Baptist Church, Meals to Go.

    Mrs. West, wife of Paul E. West, passed away on July 25, 2021 at their home in Elgin, S.C. Born in Edgefield County, S.C. on March 23, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Louise Stack and Harold J. Talbert, Sr. Mrs. West was a member of Blaney Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, cooking and baking.

    Mrs. West is survived by her husband, Paul West; siblings, Harold J. Talbert, Jr., Charles L. Talbert (Virginia), Ralph B. Talbert (Linda), Linda T. Heath (Jimmy); her sisters-in-law, Anniemae W. Boyd, Margaret W. Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. West was predeceased by her sister, Anne S. Driggers; and her beloved sister-in-law, Bunie Talbert.
