Obituary of Linda Hornsby Cobb

CAMDEN- Funeral services for Linda Hornsby Cobb, 62, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Cobb passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late John Edgar Hornsby and Martha Timmons Cook. Mrs. Cobb enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her daughter, Amanda L. Cobb Dunlap (Billy) of Camden; siblings, Delores Beverly of Ansonville, N.C., John Hornsby of Lugoff, Sandra Peebles of Camden, Cindy Hornsby of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Scarlett Cobb, Colton Joyner and William Dunlap.
