Obituary of Willis "Billy" DeBruhl

Willis D. “Billy” DeBruhl, 82, of Lugoff, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Born in Kershaw County on October 6, 1938, he was the son of the late Willis and Susan Nichols DeBruhl, and the husband of Dolores “Doe” Williams DeBruhl.

Mr.DeBruhl retired from Dupont, where he worked for 27 years. He coached baseball for Lugoff-Elgin High School, Legion ball, and the Kershaw County Rec. Department for over 50 years. He enjoyed classic cars.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by his daughter, Sandra “Gail” Lankford (Robert) of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Katy Lankford, Billy Lankford, and Brandon Lankford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Willis Dean DeBruhl and Tracy Ann DeBruhl.

A private graveside service will be held in Quaker Cemetery, Camden.
