Obituary of Delores Jeanette Speck Koumas

Delores Jeanette Speck Koumas, 74, of Lugoff, passed away on Wednesday July 7, 2021. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Gladys Newman Speck. She was a member of Bethel Worship Center in Camden. Mrs. Koumas loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed the Monday morning fellowship with the church ladies.

Surviving are her husband, John Arthur Koumas, Sr.; her children, John Arthur Koumas, Jr. (Jenny), Sarah Theresa Koumas Gardner, and Michael Joseph Gerard Koumas (Angela); grandchildren, Justin Spivey (Abby), Jessica Koumas, Jenna Koumas, Morganne Lambert (Lee), Robert Gardner (Lexi), Kayla Koumas, Gage Koumas, Brook Koumas, Blair Hall (Will), Liz Hammond (Jay), Trey Spradley (Ashley), and Brandon Spradley; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Spivey, Collin Spivey, Oaklyn Lambert, Drake Lambert, Grayson Gardner, Alexis Narceese, Colton Hooker, Marayla Hooker, Tanner Hammond, and Macie Hammond.

Funeral services for Mrs. Koumas will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Powers Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Javin Proctor and Pastor Raymond Sellers. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00am-11:00am at the funeral home, and the family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm.
