Obituary of Mark Anthony Kelly
RIDGEWAY- Mark Anthony Kelly, 58, passed away July 1, 2021 at 10:10 p.m. after a long battle with kidney and heart disease. He was born in Winnsboro, S.C. to Palmer and Annette Kelly on March 18, 1963. Mark loved going to the mountains, looking for waterfalls, listening to the creek run water over the rocks, riding the tractor, sitting in his shop that he was so proud of, listening to old music, hunting, working in the garden, making people laugh and spoiling the grandkids.
Mark’s passion was cooking and creating his own recipes! He had more friends and family members that loved him than there are grains of sand on the beach. He dedicated his whole life to his family. Mark loved them with every ounce of his being. His whole face smiled when his children and grandchildren came to spend time with him. He spent his whole life working hard and taking care of everyone else, always putting himself last. He will be dearly missed and life will never be the same.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory a wife of 24 years, Angie Riley Kelly; 3 daughters, Lisa Ann Kelly of Lugoff, Whitley Graem Kelly of Lugoff, and Cameron Reyn Kelly of Ridgeway; mother, Annette Kelly; 3 grandchildren, Teagan Shea Rabon, Christopher Nash Kelly, Cooper Mark Kelly; sisters, Kathy Peake (Terry) and Linda Steele (Randy); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Palmer Kelly and a brother and best friend, Chris Kelly.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Mark Kelly will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kelly Residence, 1228 Centerville Road, Ridgeway, S.C. 29130. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
