LUGOFF – Funeral service for Vicki E. Ray, 76, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Michael Leonhardt will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 -3:00 pm. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church, 45 Roseborough Rd, Lugoff, S.C 29078. Mrs. Ray, wife of the late Jack D. Ray Sr., died Thursday, January 16, 2014. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Paul and Emma Perry Fitch. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother. Surviving are her sons, Billy Way Jr. of Columbia and Paul Dennis Way of Columbia; step-children, Diane R. Wingate, Jackie R. Shaw, Esther R. Houlihan, Janet R. Ivey and Jack D. Ray, Jr.; brother, John D. Fitch of Midlands, Texas; grandchildren, Kenzie E. Way, Ellen Paige Way, Douglas Reese Way, and William Adams Way; and a special friend, Jim Williams.
