Obituary of Eather M Arrants

BETHUNE-Funeral services for Eather M. Arrants, 90, will be held Thusday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. David Caulder will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 42, Bethune, S.C.  29009.

Mrs .Arrants, wife of the late David S. Arrants, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Born in Kershaw, SC on February 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Johnny L. Outlaw and Lillian Marsh Outlaw Warr. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bethune. Mrs. Arrants enjoyed yardwork.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Melton of Camden and Corbett Glenn Melton of Orangeburg; grandchildren; Michael Melton and Danny Melton; and great-grandchildren, Danielle Melton, Grayson Melton, Gaven Melton, and Cayden Melton. She was predeceased by her first husband, Corbett K. Melton; and a sister, Betty Klepchick.
