Obituary of Edwin J. Zobel, IV

LEXINGTON – Memorial service for Edwin J. "Jay" Zobel, IV, 59, will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Spears Creek Baptist Church, 116 Spears Creek Church Ln, Elgin, SC 29045, with visitation following until 7:30 p.m at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALPHA Center, 208 King Street, Camden, SC 29020.

    Mr. Zobel passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Edwin J. Zobel III and Myrtle Lee Morris Zobel.  He enjoyed hunting and playing golf.

    Surviving are his daughter, Summer Leigh Zobel (14) and brother, Steve Zobel.
