COLUMBIA – A celebration of life service for Susanne Elisabeth “Susan” Seeger, 56, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. George Cashwell will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice. Ms. Seeger passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. Born in Augsburg, Germany, she was a daughter of Ingeborg Seeger Martin. Ms. Seeger was an avid football fan, especially of the Chicago Bears and the Clemson Tigers. She enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time with her grandbabies. Surviving are her mother, Ingeborg “Inge” Martin of Columbia; partner, Lynn Pace; step-daughters, Christy Pace and Alicia Watters; 4 step-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Seeger (Lisa), Francis “J.R.” Vidal (Ami); sister, Cathy Sprowls (Steve); nieces, Kristina and Bianca Seeger; and great-nieces, Kaitlyn and Khloe Mack. She was predeceased by her father, Ron Vidal.
