Obituary of Rosa Bell James

BISHOPVILLE – An outside service for Rosa Bell James, 67, will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church  in Bethune, S.C. with burial to follow in Corbett Cemetery in Bishopville, S.C.

    Ms. James passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021.  Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Eloise McCain Graham.  She was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church in Bethune.  She was an Eastern Star and enjoyed cooking, cleaning fish and raising chickens.

    Surviving are her daughter, Sally James; son, Ricky James; brother, Nathaniel Graham; sisters, Eloise Caldwell, Georgia Mae Smith and Jessie Jefferson; grandchildren, Rose Pearson and Terry James; and 1 great-grandchild.
