Obituary of Ervin "Chip" Browning, III

CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Ervin “Chip” Browning, III, 54, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital.

    Chip passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born in Camden, he was a son of Brenda Hayes Browning Broadway and the late Ervin Browning, Jr. Chip enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, working on cars, and being at the lake or the beach.

    Surviving are his wife, Scarlett Powers Browning; son, Jacob Ervin Browning; mother, Brenda Browning Broadway; and step-father, Howard Broadway.
