Obituary of Josephine Branham

CAMDEN- Funeral services for Josephine Branham, 79, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Darren Truel will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

     Josephine passed away Saturday, May 01, 2021. Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Carrie Belle Spires Branham. Josephine was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crotchet, reading, and cooking.

    Surviving are her children, Rev. Darren Truel (Jennifer) of Leesville, Stephen “Kirk” Truel (Maggie) of Lexington, Alicia T. Watkins (Ricky) of Cassatt; sisters, Ellen Stokes and Phyllis Hayes; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Robert W Truel, Michael Truel; and siblings, Robert Branham, James Branham, Stephen Branham, Charles Branham, William Branham, Olin Branham, and Lawson Branham.
