Obituary of Robert Stanley Gray

Robert Stanley Gray, 82, of Elgin, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Born in Hyannis, MA, on December 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Stanley “Stubby” Gray and Rita Smith Gray and the husband of the late Margaret Lewis. Robert was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Boston Red Sox. He attended Active Day Care in Winnsboro, and the family is extremely grateful for their care and dedication. Robert enjoyed watching westerns, spending time with his family, and loved his dogs and cat dearly.

He is survived by his daughters, Pam Lewis and Heidi Duran; grandchildren, Rochelle and Dante Duran; and his caregiver/adopted daughter, Veronica “Roni” Mallick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Lewis.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
