Obituary of Erskine Hawkins, Jr.

LUGOFF – Graveside service for Erskine Hawkins, Jr., 49, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 12 noon in Broom Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Hawkins, husband of the late Helen Sutton Hawkins, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021.  Born in Camden, he was the son of Bernice Bradford Harris and the late Erskine Hawkins Sr.

    Surviving are his mother, Bernice Harris of Lugoff; son, Quandre Tucker; step-daughter, Michelle Sutton; siblings, Marcus L. Hawkins (Joana), Felicia Primes (Bobby), Tangela English, Randell English and Andrew Hawkins; and 1 step-granddaughter.
