Obituary of Betty Jane Wooten Campbell

Betty Jane Wooten Campbell, 91, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Born in Chester, SC on January 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John Michael and Emma Belle Cameron Wooten, and the wife of the late Frank Benjamin Campbell. She was a longtime member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. Betty enjoyed reading books, baking cakes, and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Imogene Campbell Grandon; grandchildren, Gina Kelly (Billy Goins) and Amy Walters (Scott); great-grandchildren, Jamie Kelly, Jr., Blair Branham (Caleb), Lauren Walters, and Easten Walters; and great-great-grandchildren, Marleigh and Addison Branham.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Nelson and Doris Goff; and her grandson-in-law, Jamie Kelly.

A private graveside service will be held at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery at a later date.
