DALLAS, TX – Services for Earl Trellue Alpha, 92, will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The SPCA or Pets, Inc. Mr. Alpha, husband of the late Pauline Alpha, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Patterson, LA, he was a son of the late Earl Independence and Stella Alpha. Mr. Alpha served in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. He loved animals. Surviving are his children, Steven Alpha (Julia) of Boise, ID, Sharon Hagenburger (Don), of Elgin; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a sister, Betty Spence (Reynard). He was predeceased by a brother, Peck Alpha.
