Obituary of Robert "Bob" Frederick Leslie

Robert Frederick Leslie, 76, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Born in Minneapolis, MN on June 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Robert M. Leslie and Gladys Peterson Leslie, and the husband of the late Mary Ann Leslie. Bob was retired from the US Army. He was a member of the CDMA, the Columbia Riders, the Elgin VFW, and was affiliated with the Hog Ridin’ Fools. He was a hard-working man who was loved by everyone that knew him. He loved his children and especially loved riding his bike.

He is survived by his first wife, Mavis Leslie; his children, Robert J. “Robbie” Leslie and Beth Leslie; a sister, Marlene Gabrielson; and two grandsons.

Memorial services will be held at 9am on Friday, March 12th at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

A benefit ride in Bob’s honor will be held at Gossips following the service.
