Mitch, Jack and family,
Heaven gained another angel Tuesday morning when God looked down and saw that Glo was tired and took her home with him. It really saddens me though because her life was cut to short.
I have known Glo for a very long time. She was NOT just a friend but like family to me, a long with being a longtime neighbor. I can remember when she would come into the Water District when you first met Mitch , she was smiling from ear to ear. And she was sooo proud of your son Jack. I will always remember our walks around the neighborhood, laughing and cutting up, going to visit Joicey, going to Belk's and the annual craft fair in Columbia together. Boy what fun we had! What about those baby flying squirrels you found in the back yard. Now that was something. I will never forget that Thanksgiving day when one jumped down my mom shirt. Oh how we ALL laughed so hard!!! I can also remember when you would fall and Mitch would call me to come help pick you up and what a pistol you were!!! I will never forget what a soft spoken lady you were and that big beautiful smile! You were always so kind to everyone you met, always welcoming them with open arms. I will sure miss coming and seeing you and us cutting up and bantering like we were sisters. Mitch coming in and saying what going on in here because we were having so much fun and then Mitch saying I gotta get out of here and leave you two alone!!! Oh how we would just giggle. You always looked forward to me making my homemade Mac & Cheese, chocolate fudge and cooking my Christmas goodies. You always made me feel so good when you would sooo enjoy eating them and telling me I should sell them. Those are all wonderful memory’s now in my heart forever.
I know your whole again with our awesome God!! Dancing up a storm and looking down on us all with your big warm smile. We have shared so many wonderful times together over the many years and they are all wonderful memories that will last forever in my heart. You are still loved by all that knew you and you will certainly be missed by many.
With heartfelt prayer and tons of hugs. I will love you forever my friend.
Kim
