Obituary of Tobias Maurice Sanders

CAMDEN – A viewing for Tobias Maurice Sanders, 33, will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Powers Funeral Home from 11am – 3pm. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

    Tobias Maurice Sanders was born on December 3, 1987 in Camden, S.C. The son of Debra Ann Sanders and the late Eddie Lee Covington. He departed his earthly life on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland.

    Affectionately known as “T.B.” by many friends. Tobias was a 2007 graduate of Camden High School. Friend to all whom he met.

    Tobias was baptized at Nazareth Baptist Church at an early age. He was a diehard Clemson fan and the BEST FATHER a girl could have. His greatest joy was the birth of his daughter. The APPLE of his eye.

   He leaves to cherish his fond memories his beloved daughter, Makayla Ann Sanders; mother, Debra Ann Sanders; brother, Desmond Sanders (Roschetta); his favorite aunt, Chiquitta Boyd (Ricky); his second mother, Wendy Oddie, aunt, Elizabeth Peebles and family; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; special friends, Trent Oddie, Chris Williams, Daniel Payne, Dexter Caldwell, Kenny Godwin, Josh and Elizabeth Lund, Jameson Lewis, Timmy Oddie, Wade Murphy, and Janie Herbert “Auntie”.
