Obituary of Emma Louise Drakeford
CAMDEN – A graveside service for Emma Louise Drakeford, 70, will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Scott Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Drakeford passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Annie Mae Drakeford. Ms. Drakeford was a member of Testimonial Ministries. She enjoyed fishing.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her daughter, Peggy Ann Baker of Camden; brothers, William Drakeford (Steve), Roosevelt Drakeford, Leroy Moses (Joyce), sisters, Doretha Drakeford, Louise Drakeford, Mary Hampton (Charlie), Pastor Betty Smith (Michael); 2 grandchildren, Sharan Drakeford, Shakee Drakeford; 5 great-grandchildren; special friend, Joseph Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mother; daughter, Carrie Bell Drakeford; grandson, Patrick Jerome Drakeford; a sister, Ethel Mae Stover; brothers, Bennie Drakeford, Lewis Drakeford, Thomas Drakeford (Sam), John Henry Rutledge, Willie James Drakeford, and Jessie C. Drakeford.
