LUGOFF – Funeral services for Lucille Pearl “Mama Lucy” Martin, 81, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Martin, wife of the late Huge Murl Martin, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Claude Bickley and Mamie Davis Ouellette. Mrs. Martin enjoyed sewing, crafts and doing floral arrangements. She was a big fan of Elvis and John Wayne. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Herron, Nancy Seavers (Richard), and Linda Wells, all of Lugoff, 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Stanley Wells.
