Obituary of Diana Lynn Breitenbach

CASSATT – A funeral service for Diana Lynn Breitenbach, 65, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Marthers will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Breitenbach, wife of the late John George Breitenbach, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021. Born in Bishopville, S.C., she was a daughter of Betty Lou Brown Hetrick and the late Henry James Grady. Mrs. Breitenbach attended First Assembly Church of God. She enjoyed camping, cooking, word puzzles, reading novels, and watching movies.

    Surviving are her companion, David Woods; mother, Betty Lou Hetrick; children, Kenny Elmore (Miranda) of FL, Kristen Hipkiss (Eric) of Elgin; Ronald E. Moody, Jr. (Kimberly) of Cassatt, Wendell Kirven and Jason Kirven, both of Lake City, SC; siblings, Elaine Kelly (Allen) of Florence, Donna Jefferson (Dennis) of Elgin, Alisa Overy (Donnie) of Elgin; and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father; brother, Henry Chris Grady; and a grandson, Ronald E. Moody III.
