Obituary of Gwendolyn Pate Broadway

CASSATT – A service to celebrate the life of Gwendolyn Pate Catoe Broadway, 70, will be held on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  Memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center.

    Ms. Broadway passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021.  Born in Sumter, S.C., the late Bobbie Jean Catoe and Mr. and Mrs. Sydney S. Catoe, Sr.  A graduate of the University of South Carolina, she was a registered nursed and retired from Camden Dialysis Clinic.

    Surviving are her sons, Charles B. Broadway and Jason R. Broadway; grandchildren, Reid Broadway and Madelene; and favorite uncle, Allan W. Catoe and his family, Linda C. Kronmam and her family, the Buffalo Herd of Buffalo Baptist Church and my pets.  She was predeceased by a sister, Deborah M. Granger; and special friend, Connie B. Ray.
