GASTON – Funeral services for Rebecca Brown Outlaw, 74, will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Sandy Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Outlaw, wife of the late Harvey Lee Outlaw, died December 17, 2013 at Palmetto Baptist Hospital. Born in Warthen, GA, she was a daughter of Charlie Lloyd and Florie Davis Brown. Mrs. Outlaw was a member of the True Light Church of Christ, Highill, S.C. She enjoyed refunding, and trading coupons. Surviving are her daughter, Lee Anne Cavallier (Gerald, Jr.) of Gaston; grandchildren, Heather and Kelsey Cavallier; great grandchild, Brandon Charlton, Jr.; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. “God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
