Obituary of William Harry Hodge

CAMDEN – A memorial service for William Harry Hodge, 78, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. A private burial will be held in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arbor Foundation.

    Mr. Hodge passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born in Paxville, he was a son of the late Jack Dempsey and Lois Pack Hodge. He served in the U.S. Air Force and always followed his passions. He enjoyed writing and gardening.

    Surviving are his wife, Doris Fulmer Hodge; children, Glenda Quick (Ben), Paul Hodge (Tina); grandchildren, Christopher Quick, William Quick, Madison Hodge, Ryan Hodge; and siblings, Jack Dempsy Hodge, Jr., Jane Poplin (Glenn), and Tom Hodge (Gloria). He was predeceased by a brother, David Hodge and a sister-in-law, Irene Hodge.

    The family extends a special thanks to Agape Hospice and Dr. Jack Scheuer.
