CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of James Wayne Garbade, 64 will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends Sunday 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Garbade died Friday, December 13, 2013. Born in Morehead City, N.C., he was the son of the late Edward and Elva Willis Garbade. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing poker. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Ann Tervolis Garbade; children, John Wayne Garbade, Melissa Dawn Garbade, Cortney Joseph Garbade, Richard Keith Tervolis, Jenny Lynn Springs, Robert Edward Skidmore and Gerald Benjamin Skidmore; brothers, William Van Garbade and Christopher Scott Vocatura; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
