KERSHAW – A service to celebrate the life of Jasper Lee "Jack" Boone, Sr., 69, will be held on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Baldricks Foundation. Mr. Boone passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late David Boyce and Naomi Hopkins Boone. He enjoyed shooting pool, watching NASCAR, and was an avid Clemson fan. Surviving are his children, William D. Boone (Stephanie), Richard B. “Chip” Wyant (Tabitha), Jay Wyant (Heather) and Jacob Boone (Tina); brother, Lloyd Boone; and 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his fiancé, Martha Ami Rodgers; son, Jasper Lee Boone, Jr.; brothers, Boyce Boone and Julius Boone; and sister, Dorothy McCathern.
