A memorial service for Paul Edwin Robinson, 74, will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Paul Edwin Robinson passed away on Monday, September 8, 2020. He was born in Mooresville, N.C. on October 30, 1945. Paul was the son of the late Author Garfield Robinson and Glady Robinson Freeze. Paul owned Robinson Asphault and Concrete Contracting for over 40 years. After his retirement, he owned a small business, Robinson Pilot Escort Service. Surviving are his daughter, Elena Robinson Beagle (Shawn); son, Todd Robinson (Angela); grandchildren, Len, Kelly, Casey, Kristen, Savannah Peterson, Shawn Beagle, Jr.; and brothers, Larry Wayne Robinson and Jerry Robinson. He was predeceased by a son, Gary Robinson; sisters, Matoka, Dorothy, Barbara; and brothers, James, Hebert, Ford, Bill, Gene, Harry Lee (Betty), Ronnie and Tommy Robinson.
