ELGIN – Funeral service for Franklin H. Worley, Jr., 77, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Mr. Worley passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Born in Lenoir, N.C., he was the son of the late Franklin H. Worley Sr. and Marie Cline Worley. He enjoyed building and riding his Harley. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Rachel Hinson Worley; sons, Richard Worley (Debbie) and Steven Worley; daughters, Angela Brimson, Melissa Worley and Tonya Worley; brother, Tony Worley; sisters, Cindy Beam and Carolyn Smith; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
