CAMDEN – A graveside service for Lindsay Kelly, Jr., 77, will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Kelly passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Lindsay Kelly, Sr., and Alice Sutton Kelly. He was a hardworking man who retired from DuPont in 1992. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family and friends, being at the lake, fishing, bowling, and playing cards, until his health began to fail. We will surely miss seeing him on the porch. Surviving are his wife, Edwyna Hubbell Kelly; daughters, Cynthia Martinez (Pete), Monica Putnam Mickle (Roy), Nadine Johnson (Ronald), and Joyce Joe; grandchildren, Jarvis Putnam, Ryan Mickle, Mary Elizabeth Johnson, Edward Johnson, Corey Benson, Clarecea Joe and Torie Joe; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Cynthia Boykin (George); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandson, Laurence Mickle; and brothers, James, David, Lawrence, Ralph and Richard.
