Somehow two families met and formed a loving bond that neither geography nor time will fade. This world has been a better place because of the man we called Poppy and his beautiful wife Nanny Judy. I remember Christmas a few years ago, Ryan got a basketball hoop. Ryan and PopPop started working on putting it together. I jumped in to help and I remember watching PopPop read the instructions, find the pieces, yell at Ryan to get the tools. I started helping out more when kids somehow kept disappearing and PopPop said to me " you know, we work well together, we should go into business together, what do you think?" I said "sounds good to me!". We finally got the hoop up probably a little more than an hour. I enjoyed spending that time with PopPop. That may have been the most time him and I spent together and it will always be a cherished memory of mine. Rest in Peace PopPop and when we meet again in Heaven, let's get into that business!
