COLUMBIA – A celebration of life service for Theresa Ann Hanvey, 66, will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Ms. Hanvey passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Born in Georgia, she was a daughter of Betty Jean Hanvey and the late Samuel T. Hanvey. Ms. Hanvey enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her son, Chris Hanvey (Kayla) of Columbia; mother, Betty Hanvey of Columbia; grandchildren, Brantley and Kylie Hanvey; and brothers, Mike and Steve Hanvey both of Columbia. She was predeceased by her father, and a brother, Samuel Hanvey.
