Funeral service for Eloise S. Fikly, 89, of Lugoff, will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Emil Turner will officiate. A private interment will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mrs. Fikly passed into her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at McCoy Nursing Home, Bishopville, SC. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late George Claude Sandy and Grace Colvin Taylor. She retired from Kendall Mills, Camden, with over 40 years of service. Mrs. Fikly was a member of First Baptist Church, Camden and especially enjoyed the fellowship of her Sunday School Class friends. Mrs. Fikly is survived by her husband, Anthony, of Lugoff; her son, Harvey Jones (Cheryl), Camden; a daughter, Rhonda Way (Kerry), Lexington; sisters, Arlene Sandy, Camden, Sylvia Ann Hood, Sumter, and Cheryl Seegars (Billy), Hope Mills, NC; brothers, George Sandy, Camden; Fred Sandy (Dianne), Mayesville; Paul Sandy (Ginger), Swansea, SC; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Jones Hood of Lugoff; brothers, Elon Sandy, Frank Sandy and Michael Sandy; a grandson, Brandon Jones and a great-grandson, Jeremy Jones. The family would like to thank the staff of McCoy Nursing Home, Bishopville, who faithfully cared for her over the last seven years.
