LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Barbara Ann Hinson, 58, will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hinson, wife of the late Timothy Hinson, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020. Born in Germany, she was a daughter of Wanda J. Brittain and the late William Joseph Brittain, Sr. Mrs. Hinson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a green thumb and enjoyed yardwork and gardening. Survivng are her son, Leo Hinson (Chelsea Wake) of Lugoff; and siblings, William J. “Billy” Brittain, Jr., Kenneth L. Brittain, David W Brittain (Sarah), Angela Sanders, and Jennifer Reece (Tara Pong “Nang”).
