CASSATT – Funeral service for Barbara Ann Jones, 70, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Sandy Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cassatt. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to ALS. Mrs. Jones passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd E. Rabon and Frances Wright Rabon. She was the Victim Advocate for the Kershaw County Sheriff’s office for over 13 years. Barbara loved cooking and riding motorcycles, and she owned Electric Sun. She dearly loved her grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Surviving is her daughter, Michelle Walsh (Jim); 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cecil Rabon (Vickie), Wayne Rabon, Carolyn Hinson (Bubber), Patsy Stokes (Mark), and Brenda Poteat (NEVER AGAIN); and sister-in-law, Judy Rabon. She was predeceased by her husband, Monty Jones; and brother, Douglas Rabon.
