COLUMBIA – A private celebration of life service for Angel Thomas will be held Thursday at Powers Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at Powers Funeral Home. Angel passed away April 16, 2020. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Nathan Thomas, Jr. and Betty Ellen Carroll Thomas. She was a member of Scott Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her siblings, Maurice Booth Doby, Tosha Marie Thomas-Swaniker, Sabrina Truesdale, Angelica J. Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
