LUGOFF – A private graveside service for Thomas David Jackson, III, 68, was held in Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springvale Baptist Church Building Fund. Mr. Jackson passed away at Prisma Health Richland on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Born in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson II and Mary Mitts Jackson. He retired from the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Clay Jackson; sons, Davey Jackson (Alison) of Simpsonville and C.J. Jackson of Lugoff; sisters, Julie Conger of Philadelphia, Pa. and Melony Hawn of Atlanta, Ga.; and grandchildren, Kayla and John Brunson. He was predeceased by brothers, Steve Jackson and Lonnie Sylvia.
