LUGOFF – A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with burial to follow in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Armando passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Jose Guadalupe Cervantes and Maria Olivia Estrada Cervantes. He was a senior at Lugoff-Elgin High School where he played football and wrestled. Surviving are his parents, Lupe and Maria Cervantes; brothers, Rene Cervantes and Alexander Cervantes; sister, Laura Cervantes; and maternal grandmother, Maria Del Rosario Sanchez.
