Herbert Willard Truesdale, III ELGIN – On Saturday, February 22, 2020, Herbert Willard “Willie” Truesdale, III strapped on his blue suede shoes and left this earth to find his brand new Stratocaster in the sky. Willie was born on February 16, 1985 and lived the majority of his life in Camden, SC. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Laura Saunders; sisters, Danielle Sheheen, Mary Truesdale, Vickie Stokes and Amy Truesdale; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herb Truesdale; and his grandparents, J.C. and Jerry Saunders, and Herbert and Ellie Truesdale. A time of gathering will be held 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Powers Funeral Home.
