LUGOFF – A funeral service for Jessica Marie Ross, 17, will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception will follow the burial at St. John's United Methodist Church in Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center to honor her love for animals. Jessica passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. Born in Sumter, S.C., she was the daughter of Gregory Robert Ross, Jr. and Christina Rene Napoli Ross. Surviving in addition to her parents are her siblings, Sarah Nicole Ross and Anthony Michael Ross; maternal grandparents, Sheri Lynn Camp (Jeff Grundhoefer) and Lewis Anthony Napoli (Jayne); paternal grandparents, Kathleen Ross and Gregory Ross, Sr.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jessica was a senior at Lugoff-Elgin High School and worked at Pontiac House of Pizza. She was a beautiful child with unlimited potential, with aspirations of being an accountant and then pursuing a career in the medical field. Jessica had a huge heart especially for children and animals. She lived life to the fullest and loved her friends and family deeply. Jessica was loved and will be missed by her Parents, Siblings, Grandparents as well as a large number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
