CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Jerry Wayne Reed, 70, will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Hallman will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in John Knox Hall. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Mr. Reed passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Born in Dalton, Ga., he was the son of the late Mercer Grady and Jewel Elizabeth Bramlett Reed. He attended Florida Atlantic University and retired from Lashbrook, Wolard and Fassano as a certified IRS enrolled Agent accountant. He was a former member of the Kiwanis in Florida. Mr. Reed was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed retirement, going on cruises, reading, swimming, walking, watching movies, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Judith Ann Colbert Reed; sons, Jerry W. Reed II (Elizabeth) of Coral Springs, Fla. and David Philip Reed (Jennifer) of Plantation, Fla.; brother, Chip Reed (Randy); sisters, Sue Gerrior (Joe), Phyllis Stumpf (Joe), and Martha Gayle Schmitz (Michael); and 3 grandchildren, Jackson Reed, Olivia Reed and Hannah Reed. He was predeceased by brothers, Bill Reed and Dennis Reed.
